Ferocity & Grace: Martial Arts Inspired Workshop
Grace Lee, offers a class to build embodied confidence through martial arts principles, somatic breathwork and movement.
The quiet confidence of a body that knows it can regulate, respond, and protect.
That embodies: we are not prey.
Ferocity & Grace is an embodied movement and nervous-system regulation experience designed to help participants reconnect with strength, self-trust, and grounded presence through the body.
This class is beginner-friendly, trauma-informed, and intentionally accessible to all bodies. It weaves together gentle martial arts principles, basic striking and self-defense concepts, functional and primal movement patterns, biomechanics, somatic breathwork, and moments of reflection and play. Rather than focusing on fighting, the emphasis is on teaching the body how to stay present under pressure, move with integrity, and respond with choice rather than fear.
Participants can expect to explore posture, balance, coordination, and breath as tools for cultivating both physical resilience and nervous-system regulation. Through simple, guided practices, the body learns that it can support itself, protect itself, and remain grounded, allowing confidence, clarity, and inner safety to emerge naturally.
Ferocity & Grace aligns deeply with yogic philosophy: using the physical body as the gateway for mental expansion and spiritual integration. When the nervous system feels safe, the mind becomes clearer and the spirit has room to open. This work supports embodied awareness, personal sovereignty, and a felt sense of being at home in oneself.
Attendees often leave feeling more regulated, capable, empowered, and connected, to their bodies, their breath, and their inner strength.
This offering is suitable for anyone seeking greater embodiment, resilience, and self-trust through mindful movement and breath.
